In most cases, the process of making a part look older or
making it look antique can be applied on top of any plated finish. This type of finish, often referred to as Patina,
is trying to replicate natural aging on metals such as brass, bronze, nickel or silver.
Besides its good looks, this finish can be a necessity when trying match existing hardware, lighting or furniture. With
our process we are able to match or get close to matching existing finishes. All antique finishes need some type of protective
coat on top in order to ptevent them from wearing. This can either be achieved with a lacquer or wax.
